H&S Training at Work
Employers should ensure that employees are given adequate Health and Safety training. This should take place:
- On recruitment – first day of employment
- On experiencing or being exposed to a new or increased risk
The training should:
- Be repeated periodically where it is appropriate (refreshed)
- Be adapted to take account of new risks
- Take place within working hours
